About the Author

TC Luther's life began in a bustling metropolis on the West Coast of the United States. However, sensing the detrimental effects of the fast-paced life and pollution on their children's well-being, his parents made a bold decision. They packed up their lives and embarked on a journey to a small farm in the Midwest, seeking a safer, healthier, and happier childhood for TC and his younger sister.

TC’s mother had secretly been homesick for her roots in the Midwest, where things moved at a much more relaxed pace and where the air was crisp, fresh, and healthy. When TC’s father began complaining about life being less than enjoyable on the West Coast, TC’s mother jumped at the chance to convince him to move East, closer to her side of the family and her original “home.”

At seven, TC, his mother, father, and younger sister packed their worldly possessions, said their goodbyes to friends and family, and moved East to a small farm in a rural community in the Midwest.

TC’s parents were “common folk” and hard workers at their regular jobs, but with the help of TC and his sister, they operated a small family farm in their free time, which was successful enough to support the family’s needs. Because they lived a fair distance from major towns or cities, there was little time for or chance of socializing with friends or family, and few wanted to venture so “far” out of town to visit the farm. TC’s family was not wealthy, so going out in the city, traveling, and sightseeing was virtually unheard of.  If vacation time came around, there was generally always something that needed fixing on the farm and took time and money that other families would most likely use for fun family getaways.

When not in school and not performing chores around the farm, TC and his sister would spend most of their free time alone in their bedrooms, fantasizing about and creating unique worlds where their minds and spirits could soar and escape the confines of their Midwestern farm lifestyle. TC and his sister were a “team” when it came to possessing vivid imaginations and creative minds. Even though they spent much time alone doing their things, they came together to play and share their ideas. This would often turn into extensive creative collaborations where TC and his sister took on roles needed to bring their ideas to full fruition. In other words, they frequently started with “nothing” and turned it into “something.”

TC Luther's intellectual journey, driven by a thirst for knowledge, has been a lifelong pursuit. His love for academia, particularly in history and the fine arts, propelled him to earn several degrees. With a strong foundation in architecture, history, design, and societal norms, TC's quest for knowledge led him from the heartland of the Midwest to the vibrant South. It took him to the cultural hubs of Philadelphia and New York, where he absorbed worldly wisdom and experienced a pace of life that starkly contrasted with his rural upbringing.

Having spent some time in “The Big Apple” and growing weary of the hustle and bustle and colder climate, TC was hit with the same revelation his parents must have had so many years before and decided he wanted to return to a calmer and more peaceful way of life, but back to the warmer milder climate closer to his original birthplace. Although he returned to the West Coast a few years ago, he did not entertain the thought of returning to the exact area where he was from. Instead, he has opted for a place that combines his love of warmer, milder climates with a smaller metropolitan area surrounded by rolling farmland. This reminds him of the rural roots he truly enjoyed during his formative years, but he is not so isolated that he can’t enjoy socializing when needed. Those rural experiences helped him hone his imagination and ability to create beautiful stories and experiences and turn them around to share them with his readers.

TC has finally found a place to call “home,” and this feeling fills his heart and soul with contentment.

TC strives to live a life enriched with the beauty and creativity his active mind creates for him and those around him.
